چکیده
The research of unloading response characteristics caverns with weak structure has important engineering value for the development and construction underground space. In this paper, firstly, cross fault cavity model is established based on particle flow code (PFC) software, considering different dip angles. parallel bond (PBM) used in cavern smooth joint (SJM) model. Then, mechanical, acoustic emission (AE), energy failure modes angles are explored. result show that angle a great influence stress distribution surrounding rock. existence faults does not change overall law AE evolution curve, is, number hits increases first then decreases. However, changes maximum duration AE. When unloaded, strain decreases increases.

Quantifying Natural Fault Geometry : Statistics of Splay Fault Angles
We propose a new approach to quantifying fault system geometry, using an objective fit of the fault geometry to a test function, specifically here a fault branch. Fitting a “Y” shaped object using a cost function to dextral faults in California, we find a number of significant results arising from using a systematic, objective, quantitative approach. (1) The largest angle of the branch structur...

In this paper, a new open-switch fault diagnosis method is proposed for the six-phase AC-DC converter based on the difference between the phase current and the corresponding reference using an adaptive threshold. The open-switch faults are detected without any additional equipment and complicated calculations, since the proposed fault detection method is integrated with the controller required ...
متن کاملFault Current Characteristics of the DFIG under Asymmetrical Fault Conditions
During non-severe fault conditions, crowbar protection is not activated and the rotor windings of a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) are excited by the AC/DC/AC converter. Meanwhile, under asymmetrical fault conditions, the electrical variables oscillate at twice the grid frequency in synchronous dq frame. In the engineering practice, notch filters are usually used to extract the positive ...

متن کاملReexamination of Fault Angles Predicted by Shear Localization Theory
This paper reexamines orientations of shear bands (fault angles) predicted by a theory of shear localization as a bifurcation from homogeneous deformation. In contrast to the Coulomb prediction, which does not depend on deviatoric stress state, the angle between the band normal and the least (most compressive) principal stress increases as the deviatoric stress state varies from axisymmetric co...
